I would like to build a custom A/B-type switch. I had a set-up with an
A/B and an A/B/C switch that allowed me to control the signal to my
VCR and television. The A/B/C controlled the TV input allowing me to
get the signal from VCR/CableBox/Wall - the A/B controlled the input
to the VCR - CableBox/Wall. I would like to replace these switches and
all of the cables with one switch. Is a remote control an option?
I don't know if I have to be concerned with the electrical ratings of
the switches or whether I need resistors. I have considered buying a
kit to etch a circuit board, if necessary, but again don't know the
electronic logic involved.
