CTC120 no tuner action

Hello folks- I took out the tuner control module and re-soldered
several bad connections. The original complaint was intermittent
snow. I did separate the tuner from the module for a short time. I
put back together but now the volume and channel buttons don't work.
All I get is 00 on the display every time I turn it on. The power
button however does work. I tried a universal remote with no luck. I
checked and re-checked my work and wiring. The module was working fine
before I took it out and worked on it. Clearly something is missing
here. Any ideas what went wrong ? Thank you.

Bill:
Possibly during your repair work, a solder splash got on the board??? Look
carefully. Or, somehow the EEPROM got corrupted with a zap from your
ungrounded soldering iron or static from your hands on the pcb.?

Obviously you didn't recheck well enough. This last time was the right
one. Your Lesson: always triple check your own work as double-checking
doesn't seem to be quite enough! Personally I have to check 4 times. ;-)
