Connecting the degauss positor incorrectly.

I have reconnected the positor the wrong way around and then swithed
the TV on.
Nothing happened and it didn't turn on anyway. (I had just replaced 2
caps in another section on the PCB).
Now I am wondering if my error would cause much damage or what;
I am really not in the mood to go back to it unless I have something
to feel better about.
Any thoughts?
Thanks guys.

For me the degauss would be essential, if you are happy without it shouldn't
be to too much I feel.

Your set has a much bigger problem than the degaussing circuit. The power
supply, and or the scan circuits have to be properly serviced.

Hi,
How did you manage?

3-pinned device wil not fit wrong way around. 2 pin devices do not have
"polarity". It is does not matter how you fit it.

Something else is gone in your TV.
