I am currently working in a hierachical design (in VHDL) which
instanciates many times a sub-block (let's say block A). For this
block I have written 2 different architectures, namelly "rtl" and
"dummy". How can I instruct synopsys to pick a specific architecture
for different instances of block A? I tried to use a configuration
file but I get the following message :
"Warning: Only simple configurations (specification of architecture
for a top
level entity) are supported for synthesis. Nested block
specifications and component
configurations are ignored on line 28 (VHDL-2092)"
Is there another way that I can do that?
Thanks.
