I just installed SPB_15.2 on our Unix network and trying to run it
from a Solaris 8 server. When I try to invoke the Design Entry from
the project manager, I see a message at the bottom of the project
manager saying "spawning ..concepthdl -proj....." which quickly
changes to "exiting... Design Entry HDL.
I found a FAQ item that deals with this on Source Link, but it only
deals with a PC install, not a Unix install. We are current running
PSD_15.1 on both Unix and PC and it works just fine, but I can't seem
to get SPB_15.2 to run. The license file specifies that it supports
SPB_15.2 but ConceptHDL exits before it tries to get a license.
If I try to run it manually I get:
ld.so.1: /cae_lab3/apps/Cadence/SPB_15.2_ISR/tools.sun4v/fet/bin/concepthdl.exe:
fatal: libLDExtMetaDMPI.so: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
Where is this library suppose to be? I don't recognize it. Anyone
have a suggestion?
