Hi !
Anyone know what this is :

- Size of a lump of sugar.

- Logotype is "VAC" (seems to the the brand).

- Marked "ZKB 472/142-80-W A5"

- Four pins (in the corners).

- I get aprox 1.2 mH between two of the pins
and the same value between the other two pins.

Inductor ? Puls transformer ?

Any ideas are very welcome !

Regards
Jan-Erik.

Don't think so, I have found other similar
components with slightly different part no's
(still from VAC and starting with ZKB but with
other numbers), and they was inductors of
different types. But I never found this
specific part no.

Is it possibly a bridge rectifier?

Hi.
I got an answer directly from VAC in Germany.
The "ZKB 472/142" is the old part no and it's now
called "T60403-D4721-X042"...

Anyway, I got a data sheet mailed to me, and the "thing"
is called "Zundubertrager / Ignition Transformer",
whatever that could be...

Jan-Erik.
