Component Help

Hi

I'm trying to identify a component to replace defective items in NiCad battery
packs for electric drills. The component is used to prevent the battery being
charged when it is above a certain temperature.

The component in a good pack is SC when cool and goes OC when heated. It
returns to SC when it cools again. The defective ones are permanently OC.

I have 2 variants of this component:

The other is marked KLIXON YS11A45B-005-TP2AB.

Up to now we have not been able to identify either of these components from the
Net. (I have a thread going on sci.electronics.components NG.)

Can any one suggest a suitable device to replace this component?
