My favorite source of free on-line datasheets has dried up. For years,
I've been using PartMiner's extensive collection of datasheets at
freetradezone.com to search for and download pdf versions of manufacturer's
datasheets. I believe it was derived from the IHS database.
Now they've apparently changed their business model and offer
downloads only to paid subscribers.
The lunkheads in my employer's component department have standardized
on another CSM database that is so clunky and user-unfriendly, that
people need extensive training on it to do even the simplest task.
I will google for data before I waste time working with our
disastrous in-house system.
Are there any other comprehensive sources of datasheets that
are still available for free on the web?
