Hello all ,
i am currently working on analysing an already existing VHDL code for
FM receiver.Since i am little new to this ,i am finding little
difficulty in understanding.
i have a block which accepts 2 inputs
1) one from the Analog to Digital converted input signal
2) sawtooth wave
this produces 2 ouputs
1)complex baseband I
2)complex baseband Q
He has used a look up table within the code,I believe he has used
CORDIC.What exactly is being done to the signal(is the input AD
converted signal multiplied with sine or cos or arctan ? what is the
significance of sawtooth wave here)
Can anyone kindly help me in this regard. Thanks and regards
