Compaq Monitor 472p repair screen width

Hi,

I have a Compaq 472p monitor that at full adjustment is 2cm short on both
sides.

I believe this model has a Samsung chassis.

Does anyone know of any common faults with this monitor, or have any
suggestions on where the fault may be?

Its ok now, I have found the problem, diode d801 was faulty.
