Does anyone know what is the cause of this weird setting?

When I run spectre simulation via the Affirma Analog window,I am given a
nice value of 10 whereas if I run the simulation via the unix's command
line, I have a value of 0.

Is there any setting or flags in which I need to change to such that
running simulation through Affirma will have a higher schedule priority?

Thanks!

I think this is set with a .cdsenv setting of something like:

spectre.init processPriority int 4

where the number (4) in this case can be between 0 and 20. You
can look at the docs for ipcSetPriority() for info on how the numbering
works.
