Comb Filter

Hey guys,

I am designing an asic to separate chroma and luminescence signals.
This will require building a comb filter. I dont have much idea about
DSP and am also relatively new to vhdl. Can some one suggest a
resource where I can learn more about comb filters and how to design
them using vhdl?
