Hello. I have a corroded metal connection which has a layer of bluish
material on it from a leakjing battery. I can clean it off with
sandpaper, but is there a quicker way? Some solution I can put it in?

Sounds like copper sulfate. A baking soda solution might work, but that
could cause other problems. I sometimes use an ordinary pencil eraser to
clean up connections/contacts.

Since the leakage is probably from an ALKALINE battery, white
vinegar(acidic) would work fine.Rinse with water afterwards.

Thanks for the help. Don't have any vinegar on hand, but I will give it
a go.
