Clarification about used abbreviations

My native language is not English and I sometimes have some problems to
understand answers when using abbreviations.

Let take an example :
"It had an o/c centre led."

What does "o/c" mean ? Out of control ?

Is there anywhere a site with the explaination of such a abbreviation ?
Thanks for your help

Depending how it was used (context) that could be "open collector" or "open
circuit". I suspect you mean 'lead' not 'led' (Light Emitting Diode").

Thats a problem even for those whose native language is english.

Let take an example :
"It had an o/c centre led."

Is there anywhere a site with the explaination of such a abbreviation ?
Nope. Google can be quite effective tho with the most unusual ones.

I'm still not quite sure what it's trying to say.

Cheers.
