circuit software thingy

i remember reading a little while ago about a bit of software where you
could start with a blank canvas, and shoose from millions of components and
link them together as neededto make a circuit, the computer could then
simulate the circuit so you could see how it would work,

then you could have it optimise the circuit to fit onto vero board, or have
it make up a pcp design which you could print off and transfer to a piece of
circuit board and etch it, then just follow ti diagram on the computer and
make the circuit up.

anyone know what i'm talking about??

It's called CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
How many thousands of dollars do you have?
