hi all,

I m looking for a relative lowcost chip that has a MAC interface and is
capable of sending data (ip based) at a sspeed of 10Mbit/s. Someone has an
idea what the memory demands will be?

kind regards
Stijn

Here is a list of common ethernet chips and boards:

The realtek RTL8019AS looks like a good choice, and it's quite cheap
too. The data buffers are on-chip, other than that memory requirements
are very low.
