I just bought a Ambico Brand, Lithium-Ion Universal Camcorder Battery
Charger for my 7.4V Sharp Camcorder batteries.
I checked it with my multi-meter and it's putting out 12V. It even has a
12V cigarette lighter plug to use in a automible.
My question is:
Will the 12V output ruin my 7.4V batteries?
I thought you always had to match the voltage output to the battery
voltage.
Another thing I find strange is that the AC adapter/charger that came
with my Sharp VL-HU860u Camcorder will charge the battery in the camera
or you can just use it without a battery to power the camcorder.....& it
has a 9V output.
Anyone who knows the answer I'd sure appreciate a email.
Thank & You & God Bless
