Changing Model Library in Cadence

Guest
I am currently using TSMC process and would like to switch to UMC
process. What files should I change? cds.lib? Any other thing I need to
pay attention? Also can I enable both processes at the same time so
that I don't need to keep changing the files?

Thanks

So I added UMC tech files in cds.lib and then I created a new Library
and attached the tech file to it. However when I run ADE, the model
libraries are not added automatically. For TSMC when I run ADE the
model libraries are already attached and I do not need to manually add.
Is there anything I forgot to do or how do I fix this?

Thanks

I assume that you've got the whole TSMC and UMC kits. As for your last
question i don't know any easy way to do this, because only one
technology can be attached to your work library. Technology influence
only layout and this is the reason you can't keep the same files for
layout (it is due to layer's names and numbers). If names and numbers of
the layers in those technologies are not the same you will see nothing
if you'll just attach UMC instead TSMC to your working library or at
best you'll see that layers changed (for example M1 appears instead of
POLY).
Schematic cells have similar problem: if basic components, such as
transistors, have different names in those kits, you can't simply copy
from one technology to another, because all you will see instead of
instances is crosses.
For schematic, though, there is fairly simple solution which is a simple
SKILL program which will convert instances' names. So, because all those
problems i don't know any easy way to switch kits.
If you only wish to change models for simulation you have to ensure that
basic components' names match to UMC kit. After that only if required
change simulator and of course model path. If layout isn't required you
also don't need to change cds.lib.

Attaching tech library to new library is required only for layout. If
you want to use new model library in Analog Environment choose Setup->
Model Path (if you use SpectreS) or Setup->Model Libraries (if you use
Spectre) and there fill in path for SpectreS or model file(s)
(possibly with sections) for Spectre.

So I added UMC tech files in cds.lib and then I created a new Library
and attached the tech file to it. However when I run ADE, the model
