Ceramic daughter board pcb problems

Those little afterthought? country adaption ? boards that are usually
painted black (to cover up sins ?).
At the moment a VCR with colour loss problems for some time and now
occasional spool motor drop out.
With digital probing (pushing with fingers ) one problem located to the pins
on one such board and the other problem to the other such board. That is the
pins sprung fixed ? to the edges of the boards not where they're soldered to
the main board.
What is the proper way to make good reliable long-term contact repoairs ?

No advice to offer on making reliable long-term connections on ceramic PCBs,
but I do suggest you make sure the problem is with the connector as you have
indicated and not due to hairline fracture of the ceramic substrate. (I
have seen the latter and this was not repairable).
