CDL export parameters

Hi

I created a part symbol and it netlists and simulates correctly in
Spectre with the correct parameters and model name in the netlist.

When I export CDL for the netlist contains $ before the parameters and
the wrong name for the part (also prefixed with a $). Where do I
correct this?

Thanks in advance.

A special thanks for Bernd who has helped me and others so generously.

That's correct CDL syntax, so I don't see what there is to "correct"?

CDL is a language which is spice-like, and originated for Dracula. It's
described in the Dracula reference manual (chapter 5 if my memory serves
me correctly).

However, CDL is not intended as a generic spice netlister. What were
you intending to use the CDL netlist for?

Regards,

Andrew.

Hi Andrew

I want to use the netlist for LVS on a legacy design. The rest of the
netlist has parameters without the $ prefix.

The schematic for this design was lost and I re-created a schematic
from a derivative part. I am using symbols and models created by
someone that is no longer reachable. We want to perform an LVS using
the original layout tool to verify that the new schematic matches the
old (in production) layout. The LVS tool complains about the $ and []
in the netlist. I want to do as few hand edits as possible to
minimize the chance of introducing errors.

What LVS tool are you using?

Andrew.
