Hello

I have got a Casio Pocket Viewer 100 from 1999 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casio_PV-100
)
But it doesnt work it does not turn on at all (btw how do you do
that?)

There are the following memory/flash in it:
29F800
29LV800
NEC D441000

I wonder whether the last is RAM (battery backuped?) and the other are
for the software. Or are data saved in flash, as there is not battery
inside, only the batteries for powering it all.
Is it worth fixing?

Before using the PV-100/PV-200 for the first time…

"Open the cover and touch the screen with the stylus to turn on

Thanks to Franc Zabkar.

But I found the problem: the fuse F601 was broken. I short-circuited
with a peice of wirewrap and it works.
The fuse is small SMD, with the text "12".
My guess is that it is 120 mA, since the thing eats 3V 0.3W = 100mA.
The local store offers 125mA replacement, that should be ok.

Otherwise it seems to work.

Next I need to find some software for the thing.
