Entered in this part TMS320VC5510AGGWA2
It comes back with TMS320VC5510AZGWA2
The difference is that the first part is not RoHS and the second part is RoHS
compliant. Month ago I contacted them to have this expensive error
corrected. Two weeks ago I contacted them again an I even talked to TI. As
of today nothing has changed. They still claim that two parts are identical.

I've seen this b4.

Sometimes the part is gold plated and already RoHS compliant. Just the name is different. By looking at it. Gold lid, gold plated leads and gold epoxy inside and silver or gold bonding wires. No difference except for pt. no. acknowldging the lead free. I hate TIN it grows whiskers that kill circuits and people.

Just like zero calorie water.
