Canon PC-1 copier ?

I just go the copier at a sale for cheap and the what I think is the low
toner light comes on, and that's all it does. The replacement A30 cartridge
is damn expensive to replace and kits to refill are costly, especially if it
has more problems. Is there any way of telling if this copier will work
without getting a replacement toner cart. There's an indicator on the side
of the cartridge that shows thru a window and its all yellow. Is the top
where you put the item to copied motorized or manual, I've never seen one
before and am not up on how it's supposed to operate.

Scratch the query, I found the problem, it was a tiny paper jam!
