Can u work this out

Guest
I have a 240 volt plug pack to charge my 12 v nicad battery pack
(10 x 1.2 v AA's )
The plug pack supplies 14.3 v at 60 ma to charge the battery pack
I plug this into an inverter 12 v x 150 w
so 2 questions
what current does the plug pack draw
What current does the inverter draw when the plug pack is charging?

I'm asking because I thought the 150 w inverter would be ok but it
seems to over heat quickly

thanks in advance... phill

Usually it's depends on inverter schematics. If it's design good,
inverter must be cool without load.

Another problem may be if you battery charger deish grog (ballast
capacitor) and you 12v inverter generate square-wave, not sine-wave.
