I have an RCA CC260 camcorder that will no longer power up, either with battery
or charger adapter (which works). It's 1990 vintage and maybe not worth
repairing, but it has kidnapped a VHS tape and I want to get it out. Any
tricks on getting the tape out?
Thanks,
Mike

NAH! A screwdriver, avery small one. Usually a phillips head.
Unscrew the hatch cover to extract your tape.
You may also have to disassemble half of the camcorder but it can be
gotten out without violence.
