Hi, all

Can anyone point me to a good source information about caller ID in
Australia. I am after technical details.

Thanks,
Rudolf

This is neither a "good source", or "in Australia", but it may give you
a few useful hints...

Its close enough to what is used in north america for practical purposes.

The only real difference is where it appears in the ring cadence
since our ring cadence is different to what is seen in north america.

Close enough so that yankee modem caller id works fine here.

Thanks,

I'll look at US stuff.

Pity, Motorola used to make CID decoder IC. Not anymore.
