Cadence Virtuoso ADE GXL

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a project for school and am running some W/L
optimizations in virtuoso's ade gxl package (version ic 6.1.3.500.13
under Red Hat Linux).

That said, I was wondering how I could distribute the load across
multiple computers. I do have access to each of the computers, and I
know I could distribute matlab across the computers... I've just never
done it before. If anything, perhaps a pointer towards a good tutorial
would be great.

Thanks for the help!

This is controlled by the Job Policy setup (Options->Job Setup).

Run "cdnshelp" from IC613 and then navigate to Analog Design Environment, then
Virtuoso Analog Design Environment XL User Guide, then Chapter 12 "Simulating".

This has links to the relevant manuals on setting up LBS (which can work with
Platform Computing's LSF, or Sun Grid Engine).

Regards,

Andrew.
