Cadence, Structure Compiler error

Gentlemen,

Can some help with the following problem:

After finishing my layout design (performing all verification), I am
trying to run Structure Compiler
for some regular structure generation, however running
StructComp->DrawPlane command produce this error:
*Error* eval: undefined function - scGetCanRunUI;

When I try to run scDrawPlane(...) straight from icfb - I get "undefined
function" error.

I am working in cadence 5.10.41, hit-kit 3.7.

I can guess it has to do with cadence setup, but not quite sure how to fix
it.

Please advise. Thank you.

Structure Compiler has been end-of-lifed for some time. Some of the functions
got removed in IC5141 - but unfortunately not all of them, leading to this
confusion...

So is there any workaround, you can advise? I got a bit confused since I
couldn't run functions not only from the
command line, but also from the StructComp menu ...

Alex.

Use an older version, I guess. There is no replacement for Structure Compiler.

Andrew.
