Cadence took a stab at a Windoze port. A real disaster, from what I
could see. With customers asking for/desperately needing multi-gigabyte
address space, Windoze is not the platform to give it to them.

Cadence has had a collaboration agreement with Sun that was extended
recently and Solaris 10 on AMD Opterons was mentioned in the press
release. I didn't see any mention of the timing for software being
available on the platform, but my own guess would be early next year.
