cadence pk file format

I want to open the file IEEE.pk (VHDL std_logic_1164) that comes with
Cadence IC5, I can open it in a text editor and I can see a lot of the file
in clear text, but there is garbage at the end and start of the file, so I
suppose it's packed in some way.
Is the a simple way to do so?
Thank you

Francisco

Seems like the .pk format is a compressed bitmap font. Is this what you
have? Can you post the file?

ftp://ftp.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/dviware/driv-standard/level-0/pk.tex

Well, no, it's crearly some kind of packed file or something, take a look at
this for example:

http://kaori.com.ar/STD.pk

if you open it with a text editor you can see some text but at the end is
full of garbage.
