Hi Folks,
(Pardon my frankness)
I really want a sold mid-level CAD engineer and have been really
unsuccessfull in finding quality candidates. I am looking for a
primarily back-end physical support CAD Engineer who will pick up the
physical verfication and have a solid understanding of SKILL, perl/
python and the unix environment. You don't need to be an expert but
you should have a solid understanding of the methods, tools and
technologies used in the design of Mixed Signal IC's.
If you are interested please drop me a line along with your resume
leaving the Subject pretty much in tact (RE is fine).
Thanks so much!!
Here is the official job posting.

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a minimum of 5
years of direct experience with analog/mixed-signal CMOS IC design
tools. Experience with debugging physical and logical design issues as
they relate to design flows and tools. Direct experience with Cadence
schematic entry, simulation, and layout software (Composer, Spectre,

programming languages and related concepts.
Responsibilities:
The Design Automation Engineer will deploy and support all design
automation methodologies and software solutions required in the design
of large CMOS mixed-signal data communication and environmental
monitoring and control IC's. Serve as first point of contact for all
tool related support issues within the SMSC analog and mixed-signal
design flows. Evaluate, deploy, and support third-party EDA software
solutions. Deploy and support a limited number of internal software
solutions. Help define common methodologies and best practices for
design flow. Document and train team members on common methodologies
