Hi

I posted question on Hitachi CT 19B5 set. I bought new set, figuring old set
was dead or if fixable banished to bed room.

Last night after I watched a while, I detected in the audio output the sound
ever so slight, that it was cycling to the channel I was on.

HUH

Ok the problem I had with the Hitachi is no matter where I was it would (after
an hour or so) start flipping to channel 2. If you were on Channel Two it would
cycle there anyway. There was no flick of the picture, but the sound deadened.
Also you didn't get the number displayed on screen.

Now I noticed that the sound deadedned like a hiccup every once in a while.

Is this the Cable gone wacco?? How do I describe it to the help desk so I get
it fixed.

Oh yeah, the old set

I opened it up, vacuumed it good looked around for obviously fried parts, (none
found), closed here up and posted here to beg for help. I turned set on , not
connected to cable, no problem, left it on hissing for hours, stayed were ever
I put it, channel 12-1-59-3 whatever. I left it there for 6 hours. Rock solid.

anyhelp appreciated here

For free plans and info on solar oven's water and purifiers, that actually
work, see<http://www.accessone.com/~sbcn/index.htm>

Maybe there is a cold solder somewhere, and you disturbed it while
vacuuming. If not properly fixed, the problem will soon haunt you.

Hi,

I vacumned the old set, the new set now had a ever so slightly detectable
glitch. I am gettint to hate Toshibas, (new set),and would never buy another.

But this could be the cable provider.
