Moto SCR C122D1’s datasheet lacks pinout:

http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/92631/MOTOROLA/C122D1.html

This is the only datasheet out there that I can find.

Anyone have a databook for this one?

Thanks.

Probably that's originally a GE part number. Pin 1 cathode,
pin 2 anode, pin 3 gate (and tab = anode).

Being bored, I had a go at searching - I could only find Motorola data with
no pin details.

AFAIK: TO220 SCRs have an industry standard pin layout, so if you find
another TO220 SCR, the sheet should give what you need.

Having said that - I vaguely remember one manufacturer making a range of
SCRs with round section lead wires that probably had reversed layout.

** GE made C122 series SCRs in 0.7mm round, gold plated lead TO220 paks.

The body colour was pale blue on older examples.

Same goes for triacs like the SC141 series.

But was the pin layout standard? - I vaguely remember something odd about
those devices, but not what.

Dave-

Motorola may be the only company currently producing the C122, but I
think it was originated by General Electric. There may be other
manufacturers that have made it over the years.

I found a GE data sheet with pin-out. It only has "D" data. Assuming
the "D1" indicates package configuration, they show types 1 through 6.
You can compare it with the Motorola data to see if it is a match.
