Can't find this power diode's specs on-line. Its a large stud-mount with
what looks like a porcelain cap on the anode which then has a
multi-bundled-strands thick (6mm total width) attachment wires with lug.

The stud is about 7mm wide.

I think the 600 is PIV rating,..I was wondering about its current handling
ability for a hi-current charger.

tks for any info,...Jason

I believe it's 100A, but I've lost a few old databooks in the last move
:-( so it's a memory job (consistent with family spec's out there though).

Much appreciated Ken.

Good data books should come with a built-in boomerang as well!

Don't forget the heatsinking if you intend running them anywhere near rated
current.

Yep,
I can confirm the 100amp rating from a non-lost databook!!
If you need anything else, let me know.

Yes,.the max output will 10A average,..but even at that current I'll mount
it on a large heatsink. The old adage: cooler is better is something which
has paid dividends in the past,..no matter the application.
