Brightness works! Focus slight out though

Well, the Sub-BGT worked like a charm, nice and bright now - but one
problem, the screen is slightly out of focus. There is no outside
focus or sharpness buttons, so I am wondering if there is some on the
inside. Any recommendations?

It's possible you have the brightness TOO high and are getting blooming.
This can cause permanent damage to the CRT phosphors and/or shadow mask.

Generally the focus controls are right near the sub brightness back by the
flyback.
