Hi,
This is an Acer 7276e monitor. The screen size will change some 5 mm
(about 1/4") in each direction with the brigthness. Is this a normal
behavior for this particular monitor, or I should try and fix it?
I measured the voltage on the PS and HOT/CRT area and the maximum
fluctuation is less than 3%. Here are some values:
SMPS:
85V/0.15A on the diagram: measures between 91 and 93.7V
50V/1A: 52.2V (steady)
6.5V/0.8A (CRT's heater): 6.43/6.47V
16V/0.8A: 16.75/16.85V
HOT: 66V (steady). I measured this on FBT pin 2 (HOT's colector goes to
pin 1).
CRT pin3 (G2?): 281.2V (steady)
There's also a peculiar behaviour: if I turn on the monitor with no
signal, it would not go in power saving mode (the led remains green). If
I apply signal and then disconnect it, it will go on power saving. It
doesn't really bother me, but if it's something fixable I would like to
give it a try.
