Monterey Park is a majority Asian demographic- 66% by 12 yo census.

Witnesses are saying shooter was male Asian. Shooting took place in dance studio. Shooter may be another of those incels.

Looks like the suspect attempted an attack at a second dance hall, but the patrons wrestled the gun from him and he fled. The police are in possession of the gun. So unless it\'s one of those ghost guns, they already know who he is, it\'s now a matter of locating him and sending a heavily armed 60-man SWAT team to pick him up.

Well, if I were living in California, I\'d be making plans to get the
hell out. Not because this kind of thing doesn\'t happen elsewhere, but
simply because in California you\'re not allowed to defend yourself
against such attacks, plus if you did, you\'d be facing a \"hate crime\"
charge in addition, because the attacker\'s asian.

Cursitor Doom is nuts.Defending yourself against a real attack is never a hate crime.

Cursitor Doom is silly enough to imagine that he might be being \"attacked\" if somebody from an unfamiliar ethnic group entered his personal space, so his opinion on the subject isn\'t to be taken seriously.
