Does anybody know any good (preferably free) boolean algebra programs? The
more the program does the better (I am a student wanting to check my work.)
Thankyou

Interesting theory on how tutoring is supposed to work.
Unfortunately, it tends not to happen that way.
Tutor is usually a post grad student paid a pittance for enormous
classes.

I was in an engineering class once where the tutors passed everyong who
handed in a copy of last years assignment and failed everyone who said
it doesn't work (lab practical), even though they knew that was the
situation. The lecturer was worse.

Yes I can understand why you would need to do that, I looked at it many
years ago, and I ............

just how confusing are you getting in to Boolean algebra ?

I got the following table from
http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Projects/Labview/boolalgebra/
and it looks simple to me and not hard at all.

With current uni resources being the way they are
you rarely get 1 to 1 tutoring at best 1 to 15 or 20
some subjects 1 to 50 for a tutorial class.

Its a rare subject (for engineering) that has more than 1.5 hours
of tutorials. Usual is 1.5 hours a week per subject + 3 hours of lectures.

Can be hard to check if your correct as a lot of lecturers don't provide
answers
to questions and textbooks usually only have half or less of the answers
to the end of chapter questions.

post grad ? no, usually undergrad who got a distinction or better
when they did the subject

Think that varies from uni to uni.
A pittance if you were only going to tutor as a full time job but
not to bad if your only doing a couple of classes a week
while studying your own subjects.
