Hello,
I would like to know if anybody out there knows some good books on
oscilloscopes (beginner to intermediate). I have a Tektronix 465 and the
manual is ok but not that helpful. If any of the books specifically deal with
Tektronix that would be great. Thanks to all

Hi

I would like to know if anybody out there knows some good books
on oscilloscopes (beginner to intermediate).
There is a nice primer "XYZs of Oscilloscopes" (or very similar title)
on the Tektronix website. About 60 pages, ca. 1.5 MB, pdf, free.

In the same download are some more "potentially interesting"
documents.

Cheers + HTH,

- Joerg

Try for 'Hands-On Guide to Oscilloscopes' - Barry Ross -
McGraw -Hill, Not Tt specific but covers practically all features,
what they do, and how to get the best out of them.

your 465 is a very good scope. I used a similar one for seveal years during
my time as airforce engineer. The dealyed trigger facility is good, but I am
not sure that you find this feature described in a book.

Best regards

Kasper
