Blinking third break light

Hi.
My wife has me to build her a circuit that will make the third brake light
blink light her friends (lucky me). Since I am rather new to electronics,
can anyone offer any PCP designs or schematics? Thanks for any help!!

Put a Flasher in series with the power lead to the "third brake light"

This was covered before where a 555 pair is used to drive a relay which
flashes the brake light three times at 6 flash/sec rate and then stays
on driving the light continuously until pedal release:

I'm impressed and astounded that anything this silly should matter to
anyone above the age of four. Doesn't she have anything real to worry
