blaunpunt tv from hell

i have raster but it keeps flashing about 6 inches of clear white screen and
if ya could tell me the valu of R452...the set is FM 100-30 ..it keeps
flasshing at random it also flashes the front panel led`s ...any help from
all is apreacated...many thanks alp...

The symptoms indicate the PSU is running in pulse-by-pulse current
limiting, or protection mode. This will be due to an overload on the PSU
due to shorted components either on the output side of the PSU or the TV
circuitry itself or possibly dried out electrolytics in the PSU itself.
The query re R452 seems to imply that its value is unreadable due to
being cooked so that would indicate that there is a short circuited
component somewhere after this resistor.
