Bizarre Disclaimer of the Week: Don't look at Reflected LED Light For
More than 60 Seconds. Well, the last time I checked, any and all
useful light from the LED is reflected, so I guess that means you have
to put 60 second blinders on when using these Luxeon Stars. Nerts!
Totally!

I always thought it od that ultrabright LEDs come with warnings not to
look at them, yet filament bulbs dont. Hard to imagine a more intense
light source than a piece of white hot metal.

Hydrogen is sort of a metal, and this fellow claims that the sun is
mostly made of iron: ;-)

Perhaps not iron, but at extreme pressures and temperatures, liquid
hydrogen does form a metallic lattice. Just when ya though things made
sense... :)

I dunno about "mostly," but it makes a lot of sense that there'd
be more iron in the Sun than you'd expect to see in a first-generation
star. (i.e., it (and we!) came from a supernova remnant. Yup, that's
right, to quote Dr. Sagan and Delenn: "We are made of star stuff."

Cheers!
Rich
