Bit of useful info for owners of old Canon powershots

Just in case anyone is struggling with extending the life of their old
Powershot G2 (good optics so it's worth keeping round a while longer
IMHO)....

Some googling will tell you that there are no Win-7 drivers for this
camera. But if you have a machine running Ubuntu linux, it connects
and transfers images with no problems.

Ubuntu is good for that.
Great for getting stuff out of iOS devices as well.

Compact Flash card USB adapters are very cheap on Ebay as well.
