bit of advice

Some months ago I replied to someone's answer on a NZ trade group, I never
got any thanks, but someone else said "What's *(name of company)* got to do
with it"

I lost my temper and replied how they once spoke to me, I am thinking of
putting the dispute on my web site, I have simply had a gutsful of trade
abuse directed at me.

The problem is, it might do more harm to me, people might think I am a
nutter so to speak, but as I said I might just put something for a small
time,

I always try and help people the best I can, but I have just had a gutsful
of abuse coming my way.

Sorry I can not write more at the moment, I have a time limit, but remember
if I get any stupid replies to this thread, I might even put those up on my
web site, and make a complaint to your ISP as I said, "I have just had a
gutsful"

hasn't got a clue what you're on about would think about it, then have a

on with life there heaps better things to do, like get a life,

Someone in a trade email group wanted to know the logon name and password,
to down load a TV /VCR service manual.
I did not know it off the top of my head, so I did not reply straight away,
thinking someone else might know it and reply with a answer.
The boss came along a few days later and put the inbox out date order so the
old message went to the top of the list, I thought the person did not get
a answer from the group and reposted the question again, I replied, ring the
"TV" agent ,

Someone else butts in and says "what's (TV agent) got to do with it"
we both did not use the words "TV agent" we used a company name who sells TV
&
VCR components and who is agents for a number of different brands.

The person who butted in has represented the NZ trade with a high posting at
one stage or another, In my opinion he should of known better, I felt as if
his remarks was a dig at me, Then I lost my temper and used the horrible "F"
word in my reply to him via the trade email group,

Then a few people in the trade group jumped on me, and made a number of
official complaints about me.

I agree I should not of used the "F" in the trade email group, But no one
said thank you to me, which was my only intention was to help someone out to
download a service manual.

The person who butted in and should know better has made a big issue out of
it, he basically wants me to kiss his butt and for me to say to him I'm

No it's not. Let's consider: you made a mistake (happens to all of us at
some time), someone pointed it out (probably not well, but he didn't know
why you'd posted as you had done), you went over the top. How's that bigger
than Ben Hur? Swallow your pride and apologise. If you'd acknowledged your
original mistake (apology not needed at that stage) none of this would have
happened.

xxxx are the agents maybe they do know what xxxxx" then everybody would be
all happy.

accepting my information which was 100% true, it was the agent that gave me
all the information that's how I knew it was true, which in fact was not
for him anyway.
