That's because it isn't epoxy. I don't know what it is exactly but you can drill; it, sand it and use it as filler and it doesn't shrink as it cures and doesn't soften when it warms up. It's similar to an adhesive supplied with an RC helicopter I had in '76. That glue (2 part) was Stabilit Express. The only problem I have with Devcon plastic welder is the container. It goes bad fairly quickly after opening. I've been using it for 10 years.

I've used a product called Fastweld 10 by Huntsman.
I got it originally from Ciba-Geigy, they sold the adhesives
to Huntsman.I've been using it since 1986.
Working time is 4 minutes, sets up in 10 minutes and cures in 1 hour at
room temperature.

My Ma can get better glue than most assholes oh the internet. she was oin, umm, shit. It was about a few things, metalurgy, rubber and shit and chemicals. wholel buinch of shit. Tell you what, she had this tape that if someone tapes your mouth, you really do shut the fuck up. this shit rips your skin off and shit., I thihk they used oit to put car fendders onb or something like that....

JB Weld is pretty much the best I have ever seen. I have seen som egood ass epoxies, but JB is somehow better.

/It IS an exopy mixture though, guaranteed. It just has, minibricks inside.

Henkel Pattex Stabilit Express is acrylat based (Polyester, Polyether +
Methylmethacrylat...) not an epoxy. It`s excelent on some stuff were
expoxy don`t work well (ABS...).

It contains a hardener powder and a tube with resin.
Seems that Henkel didn`t ship it to english contries. Maybe a name
conflict or a typical lawyer crap
