Hi..
Need a motor-to-agitator V-belt for an admiral washing machine model 560
(about 10 years old). The old belt has gone soft, stretched and has begin to
perish, flinging bits of rubber shavings about the place.
Needless to say, the machine sounds uttely terrible as a result, and no
longer is able to reach anywhere near top RPM during spindry resulting in
less than perfect wash results. The wife is furious!
I understand admiral is a rebadged-something (Whirlpool?). Any advice on
where to get a spare in Melbourne? Can you just use any old v-belt from an
auto parts place that "looks about" the same size?
