Hello

I've started using Cadence a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, I do
not find any answer to many (litle) questions like this under. If you
have any tutorials a bit more exhaustive than Cadence Online doc, I'll
be very grateful!
I hope you could help me, thanks in advance!

Question
During a simulation, I'd like to find the noise factor. I ran a
Spectre S-Parameter simulation, with 2 ports (in & out) that gave me
SP ZP etc... But for NFmin (and others!), the msfb returns an error:
"results sp_noise are not available for (adress). Use results() for a
list of available results. No valid output signals available"
What do I have to do to succeed this test?

Did you turn on the option on the sp analysis form in ADE which says "Do Noise"?
(corresponds to donoise=yes option on sp in the netlist file).

You may have to tell it the input and output port for the noise analysis,
although I think it defaults to ports 1 and 2 respectively.

Andrew.
