Battery charger question

I have a unit that takes 2,400 mAh batteries. I'm having them rebuilt
and they now will be 4,000 mAh. (the lower rated batteries are not
available).

Question; my charger is a smart one that is rated at 1.1 amps. I'm
assuming it may take longer to charge the new batteries but everything
else will be ok?
