\"Plants at which they can be made have to be located in conditions of
almost zero seismic activity, which means the products of enterprises
similar to those in Russia in seismically active California or Taiwan
“are noticeably inferior in quality and volume to the level required
in the industry.”

What nonsense.

What would you expect from Russia Today?

I know Cursitor Doom regarded it as trustworthy, but we
can\'t ask him since he is no longer here. Wonder why - not.

Ony the English language and German language sat channels are blocked.

It is a good idea to also be aware of other viewpoints than that of the slaves of the US military complex
and their empty headed puppet leaders and war mongers.
That is why I read China too.

Shitheads, back from Afghanistan, make an other war far away from their bed to ripoff US taxpayers
and everybody else due to making oil and gas more expensive.
Biden is a war criminal as was Bil Clignon and Bushman.

That\'s a false dichotomy if ever I heard one. \"Russia Today\" is one of
Putin\'s regime\'s propaganda puppets. But refusing to read it does not
mean having to read American propaganda - there are many good sources of
news and information around the world that are not controlled by
oppressive regimes. (Don\'t take that to mean that I think the USA is an
oppressive regime, as it is not. In fact its media suffers from being
/too/ open - there is nothing to prevent them from publishing a lot of
drivel, as some of their media companies do.)

Shitheads, back from Afghanistan, make an other war far away from
their bed to ripoff US taxpayers and everybody else due to making oil

You sure are an angry little man, aren\'t you? I am not American, and I
am not at all a fan of the West\'s actions in Afghanistan (or the USSR\'s,
or Victorian Britain\'s). But that doesn\'t mean RT has value beyond its
use as toilet paper, and it certainly does not make Biden a war
criminal. That\'s a term that should not be used lightly.

Russia Today is not blocked in the US. Nor is the Chinese equivalent,
CGTN. I just looked at both over the Internet.

Nor should they be, as banning something tends to make people think
that it\'s important -- Now it can be told! They don\'t want you to
know this! We all get a lot of emails saying this in some form. And
I remember when published would promote books by saying that they were
Banned in Boston (meaning that they were way too juicy for the censor
board).

But is it UTTER nonsense? Does it have anything to do with chipmaking at
all? I had never heard of that. Good idea to avoid factory fires though...

Hardly any one-way media is worth viewing. Half of us Americans don\'t
believe a word our mainstream media says. The blackout of the John Durham
probe shows EXTREME bias. That stuff is about to hit the fan. Maybe that\'s
why the Deep State is pushing so hard for war.

Then there is the OBVIOUS fact our media almost always LIES. It\'s like they
can\'t present any issue without lying and/or trolling the subject.

Then there is the fact they won\'t report on social issues that are slamdunk
against their establishment values, like transgender bullies beating up on
girls in sports (their documented policy is to avoid talking about it
because most Americans hate them for it).

I wouldn\'t trust RT for anything political, but I don\'t trust ours either.
Can\'t believe how gung ho for war our media is. Our politicians too.
Difficult to believe. Like self-proclaimed Christian Lindsey Graham
EXPLICITLY promoting the assassination of foreign leaders.

Certainly censorship of any kind is a very dangerous thing. Like any
other kind of freedom, free speech can be a difficult balance. When
something is open and free, there will be people who abuse it in various
ways - and how do you balance their freedom to abuse with other people\'s
right to freedom /from/ abuse? Where is the line between a media outlet
giving an opinion, viewpoint or slant to a piece, and posting deception
and lies? Sometimes its easy to see - Russia Today is as good a source
of facts as The Onion, but less entertaining. But even then it is not
easy to say whether access to it should be restricted.

(I have no opinion on CGTN - I haven\'t looked at it or read enough about
it to form any kind of judgement.)

There are at least two major Russian social media websites on the Internet.
ZERO for China. The Chinese people are prohibited from accessing the open
Internet. That speaks volumes about freedom and censorship between those two
countries. Russia might be bad, but China is worse.
