I have the Subject device, and am thinking about selling it. I bought it
9 years ago, and doubt that I even plugged it in. I have no idea what I
paid for it. I see a 4011A is selling for $335. Any idea what the price
was those years ago, and what change the A introduced?

Was there a CD or probes with it?

The 4011 is selling for $149 But It Now, or lower with Make an Offer.

One sold for $110, another for $142

Any idea what the price was those years ago, and what change the A
introduced?
Probably little difference.

But it. I'm selling mine for much higher. There's only a cosmetic
difference (color, detachable cord) from the 4011A, which is currently
sokd by BK. $335.

How much higher?
That's a mistake IMO, but good luck finding a sucker.
Where are you selling it?, Ebay?
To quote Darryl Kerrigan form The Castle "Tell him he's dreaming"

There's only a cosmetic
difference (color, detachable cord) from the 4011A, which is currently
sokd by BK. $335.
But that's brand new and comes with a 2 year warranty.
Yours is almost 10 years old, is technically an older model , 2nd hand, no
warranty, and you haven't even tested it yet.
You'll be lucky to get $150 for it, that's about the going rate for a basic
used function generator like this (hence a couple for sale at this price or
less). Recent eBay auctions basically determine the current going rate.

Why even fork out $150 for the B&K?

You can get a brand new 5MHz FG for $219.00 or less and free shipping.
With a one year warranty, and better specs by the way.

No I'm not affiliated with the seller I am looking for a FG though and
that one looks pretty good for the money.

I wouldn't, but looks like some people are paying almost up to that price.

Yes, these asian no-name ones are getting pretty good value these days.
If you only need a basic 2MHz unit then new ones are even cheaper again:

$109

One might want to consider a unit with "Arbitrary" abilities so that one
could create custom wave forms to do things like generate burst of
digital signals or custom slops etc..

The cost difference is worth it in my opinion.. The Asian market has
some acceptable ones out there.

something thats to good to pass up I might buy now.
